Präventionsprojekt Glücksspiel’s newsletter is a regular publication which offers information about gambling addiction and provides an overview about current specialist publications, information about upcoming events and current information about the Präventionsprojekt.

The method briefcase for working with youths aged 16 and up contains 13 different stations for individual and group work, which can be conducted as needed and as appropriate. The method sensitises users to the personal consumption and recreational behaviour, as well as controlled, responsible usage of games of chance.
Roundtable “Migration background & gambling addiction”
In regular intervals, the Präventionsprojekt Glücksspiel holds a roundtable discussion on “Migration background & gambling addiction”. The results of the roundtable are recorded in a document and are always being updated. The current documentation (March 2022) is now available for download.

Ban applications
The ban application is a central instrument in protecting players and combating gambling addiction. It allows for the prohibition on playing in arcades, casinos, sports betting offices and lottery outlets. There are various types of blocks:
- Self-block
- Third-party exclusion
There is a form for a voluntary self-exclusion in gaming arcades available here, which can be downloaded free of charge. Players who consent to a block can print out the form, and must follow the instructions in the document.
Campaigns
In order to raise awareness of the risks of gambling addiction within various target groups, the Prevention Project: Gambling runs regular campaigns. Here, we will introduce you to some of these campaigns.
